How Does ERD Unit Work?
The ERD reduces the amount of power drawn from the utility by storing (in its capacitors) otherwise lost electricity (watts) caused by the inductive motors in your home. What is bad consumption of power?
The percentage of electricity that’s delivered to your house and used effectively, compared to what is wasted. For example, a 1.0 means that all the electricity that’s being delivered to your home is being used effectively for its purpose. However, most homes in Europe today have a .77 efficiency or less. This means that 77% of the electricity that is coming thru your meter at your home or business is being used effectively, the other 23% is being wasted by your inductive load. However, the ERD unit increases that this to .97 or .98, thus increasing the effective use of your electricity and lowering your usage.

As your radiator heats up, the ‘rear’ surface normally radiates heat onto your wall, heating this up, which in turn is lost through the wall structure due to conduction. Our system sucks the heat from the rear of your radiator and throws it into the room significantly reducing the losses, saving you even more energy.
The Booster can either sit behind the top edge of your radiator as shown below, or simply placed along the top. In either case it will work perfectly, and save you energy and can save up to 30% of your heating bill.

what a great idea. My last electricity bill gave me a heart attack, if I could save 5% I would be happy, 20% sounds great, I a going to try one
While it is true that more energy circulates on the grid when power factor is far from the ideal 1.0, as far as I know, my European power utility does not bill me on inductive power – just for the real power used.
To make it clear:
If 1000 watts of energy pass through my meter, but the power factor of my appliances is 0.77, I’m billed 770 watts, not 1000.
So I’m unable to understand what savings that device could provide…

you are wrong with regards to power factor.
If 1000 watts of energy pass through your meter, but the power factor of your appliances is 0.77, you will still be billed for 1000 watts, in fact if your power factor is 0.77 this means that your machine is 77% efficient, so actually you bill will be for more, you need to look at the coeficient of the power factor. The lower the power factor the greater the watts (eg 1000 divided by 0.77 (power factor) = 1298 watts (you need to understand some basic maths before you make sweeping comments).
In your caculation you have invented a maching that is 123% (as far as I am aware this is impossible).
The correction equipment will reduce the power factor to around 0.98 so you new load will be 1052 watts, so technically you will be using less watt so you are using less energy.
where you are billed in kVa (not KW in your home) you can reduce the power factor, and thus reduce you bill, these devices will save a small amont at home but the main saving comes if you are a business user, you were half right but even if you could save say 3% that means your bills are 3% lower and you are causing 3% less damage to the enviroment and as I am told every little helps
