The home-built DIY system allows for playing a harp by using your hands to disrupt the various laser beams. Hobley designed the system so that the sensor detects only the laser beams (and not just any light) and then transforms the hand movements into sounds. You can produce awesome melodies and tunes, right in the comfort of your living room. Pretty groovy.
