Genius Crowds, a crowdsourcing platform for product development that allows consumers to brainstorm product ideas on a monthly basis on topics ranging from Bicycling (this month) to Home Organization to Pet Products.
Participant voting leads to a set of crowd favorites, and those are then subjected to review by Genius Crowds’ own panel of experts. Concepts deemed most likely to succeed are designated “for the shelf,” and Genius Crowds handles all packaging, prototyping, testing, manufacturing and distribution through its relationships with world-class manufacturers and retailers.
But of course, 25 percent of all royalties go to the products’ inventors!

Amazing Idea. Creating original stuff and selling it. Not sure if you could make a living just from that cause I’ve never tried it. I did try and sell products through affiliate marketing strategies but it didn’t work out so well. I haven’t given up though. I always keep myself motivated by reading about Yuri Mintskovsky. He was only 25 when he created his fortune so reading that story about him really helps me stay on track and keep focused. I might give custom t-shirts a try. Thanks!
