3D-Printed Photo Figurines

Users seeking a more eerily accurate 3D rendering of their full-body selves should consider making the trek to Hamburg, where artists Kristina Neurohr and Timo Schaedel of pop-up studio Twinkind create life-like “photo figurines.” Users choose one of seven size scales, which range in price from €225 (for a 15 cm figurine) to €1290 (for a 35 cm one). For additional fees, Twinkind can also render accessories such as an iPad, handbag, or guitar case, as well as physical “enhancements” like six-pack abs or a straightened nose.

  1. I’m a designer in the US looking for another avenue of income and am very interested in 3D Printing and what you are doing. Would you like to tap the US market with me?
