Pulchra is the first beauty contest devoted exclusively to objects. The contest is open to everyone, free of charge, and the winner will receive a prize of 10,000 Euros. The Pulchra catwalk is a parade of one hundred objects that are part of our everyday life and history. Of these one hundred objects, Pulchra will invite participants to vote for the ten most beautiful items to be sent into the future as messengers of the culture of our time.
The public can vote from January 30th 2008 through December 31st 2008. At the closing of the voting, the hundred objects chosen for the contest will be ranked on a scale of one to one hundred, according to the number of votes received by each of the items. The top ten items on these rankings will be the winners of the contest. The winner of the voting competition will be the person whose votes matched most closely the rankings of the most-voted-for objects.
