Pop Mural is a functional piece of art where Folditure’s folded furniture is nested into an intricately designed frame of textile and wood. The artwork transforms as different pieces are removed from the frame to reveal yet another layer of artistic expression – a magnificent textile.
The complex interplay of furniture silhouettes, frame and background all form a unique whole. Pop Mural is a performance of art, form, and function. The furniture silhouettes “pop” out of the frame into the room to unfold into chairs and transform the space into a functional sculpture garden.
