Mobile Flower Truck

September 2nd, 2011

TrendCentral: The explosion of mobile dining has made vehicular vending the status quo. The latest business on wheels to hit LA’s Westside is embracing this trend full bloom—literally. The Flower Truck, a brightly-colored revamped ice cream truck, can be found parked around Culver City, Venice or Santa Monica every weekend. Don’t expect to find your typical deli-fresh bunch of pink carnations here; seasonal stock is cut fresh daily so patrons have their pick of rarer buds, such as lisianthus, kangaroo paw, and mini pineapples. Those desiring a more tailored floral fix can collaborate with owner Jennifer Kaplan to arrange their own bouquet-to-go.
