Cardrops is a “frictionless” delivery service launched by Antwerp creative agency Board of Innovation. It aims to take the planning and hassle out of receiving parcels.
The Belgian service reasons that cars are parked 90% of the time and so their trunks can be used as smart lockers for their owners. Registered users must first get a small Cardrops tracking unit fitted near the driver’s seat. Then, they simply choose Cardrops as their delivery method while shopping online. When the goods are ready to be delivered, Cardrops tracks the user’s car and sends the delivery.
